Air Performance

For the last 30 years, Bob Cangemi of Renaissance Building Products has designed louvers, grilles and sunshades for some of the most prestigious projects around the world such as World Trade Center Tower One and Four, Hudson Yards, airports such as LaGuardia, Newark, Toronto, JFK, Ben-Gurion and dozens of high end multifamily towers, office buildings and hotels. He uses the methodology of blending the engineers requirements with the designer’s vision, while keeping the building marketable for the Owner. Now Bob has teamed up with a niche “Made in the USA” manufacturer to push the designs further with high performing louvers , PTAC units and more aesthetic options for the entire construction team.

“Air Performance has a firm grasp on both the technical and design requirements to help us design custom solutions. Their fabrication facility goes way beyond just louvers which is why they can think out of the box when customers come to us with creative ideas. Being nimble is why they are gaining traction in NY and around the country.” Bob Cangemi

Architectural Facades

Valmont Architectural

Our business plan is to create a façade that will get that “second look” using your designs and allowing us to do the nerdy work by helping to engineer all the attachments. Our integrated approach to facade delivery helps architects and contractors achieve ambitious design objectives quickly and efficiently.

Architects save design time, and general contractors enjoy single-source responsibility which means better schedules and increased profitability.
Working in Revit, Valmont Structures delivers the architectural design intent using the most installation efficient options available today. 3D Navisworks models confirm design intent, and budgets are developed quickly and accurately. Valmont Industries, Inc. is a Fortune 1000 company and has 87 manufacturing locations in 23 countries with the capabilities to deliver projects anywhere on the planet.

“I’m happy to find a manufacturer like Valmont that embraces the single source responsibility of custom façade designs with engineered attachment details. The ability for our clients to collaborate with us throughout the design process using our 3D modeling and pricing software should answer many questions early on.” – Bob Cangemi

Stabilized Aluminum Foam (SAF) is a lightweight product that can be installed as a rainscreen, equipment enclosure or just an accent wall. The product is so versatile that it’s impossible to state all the uses. Some other features are sound dampening, heat insulating and are mold and mildew resistant.

“Rarely do you find a product like Alusion that’s so cool it makes designers want to find a place for it whether they need it or not.” – Bob Cangemi

Wall Panel Systems, Inc

Phenolic and fiber cement wall panels are a proven option and have been used around the world as a main design feature for facades. Utilizing both hidden or exposed fasteners, WPS’ engineers can help with attachment and transition details for adjacent substrates and other façade products.

“Combining Renaissance’s depth of knowledge for interior and exterior products along with Wall Panel Systems’ desire to solve intricate wall panel design details, we are able to help mitigate risk while providing a high end design for all parties involved” – Bob Cangemi
